ΦΔΨ Phi Delta Psi

 ΦΔΨ – Brothers…for life.

The goal of our organization is to better the local community and campus of Southern New Hampshire University. As SNHU’s oldest fraternal organization, we host all sorts of on-campus activities/events and donate to local charities. Phi Delta Psi is committed to the idea of excellence in Greek Life by living up to a higher standard and abiding by our four points: Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity, and Brotherly Love. 

 Intellectual Awareness

• The end-goal of pursuing higher education is to reach academic success. Phi Delta Psi firmly believes in the value of intellectualism, and that extra-curricular activities should come second. Studying and working together helps us progress towards our shared objective:  Achievement.

  Social Responsibility

“As a fraternity, we have an obligation to better the social environment on and off of our campus.”

• Our organization puts on and supports all kinds of noble events for our local community. Just a few of our most successful events have been to promote Drug Awareness, Cancer Research and Blood Donation. We also host a Lip Sync Contest and a Talent Show on-campus every year which brings the student community together to have a great time.

• Participation in community service  has always been one of our strongest aspects of Social Responsibility.  Some of our yearly volunteer events include:  
  • Give a Little, Feed a Lot – An annual canned-food drive in Manchester
  • One Night Without a Home – Experiencing a winter night of homelessness to raise money and awareness for the displaced
  • Big Brothers, Big Sisters – Engaging with disadvantaged inner-city kids 

• We also spend a lot of time working tables for charitable organizations to help raise money for those in need.

Integrity

• Integrity is a virtue that reflects the character of each individual. It signifies the consistent basis of an individual’s actions on a set of principles or morals. Being a part of our fraternity demands a strong sense of integrity and uprightness. It is a standard we strive for always.

Brotherly Love

• One of the most important elements of our fraternity is brotherly love.  Brotherhood, a deep and unbreakable connection,  is one of the main reasons why people join our fraternity.  Showing and maintaining that brotherly bond is part of our mission and one of our most important goals. Together with our sister organization, the sisters of Phi Omega Psi (ΦΩΨ), we exist as a life-long family that we deeply cherish.
