Why Pledge Phi Psi?

You may be asking yourself why you would want to pledge a fraternity, or for that matter: Why Phi Delta Psi? We believe if you’re looking to learn leadership skills, be part of a tradition, to find that family-away-from-home and to make the most out of your college experience, then Phi Delta Psi is for you.

Leadership

  • Being part of our fraternity will provide you with many opportunities for leadership – not only internally with positions in the fraternity – but also within the school community. We are involved with many events at SNHU and volunteer hours of our time for community service. It takes responsible men to plan, coordinate and execute those activities. Greek life is also a higher calling, which allows you to demonstrate leadership by example every day. Brothers of Phi Delta Psi strive for more out of their college experience.

Tradition

  • Joining Phi Delta Psi will immerse you in a tradition that spans decades, and membership is something that spans generations, and makes you part of something for life. We were the first fraternity founded at SNHU, and the oldest organization only second to sports teams – that’s something to be proud of. The pledging process is something hundreds of men have been through, and the leaders Phi Delta Psi has produced is a legacy that continues.

Family

  • Becoming a brother is really becoming part of a family, that home-away-from-home. You join a family tree and become part of a lifelong family. Being a brother also connects you with a large family of Alumni that span the globe. This entire bond is something beyond just friendship – its brotherhood, memories and moments you will never forget. College only lasts four years, brotherhood lasts for life.
